Kiamwangi is a bright, clean AA selection with complex fruited highlights, and a pristine acidic impression. The ground coffee had a tropical accent of pineapple, with notes of pie filling, like peaches cooked with raw brown sugars. The wet aroma had dried fruit notes, like aromatic stone fruits, along with a red berry note that brought out a winey-fruit accent. The cup has a delicate, tea-like side, with hint of rose hips and cranberry tea. This is definitely a powerful “classic” Kenya Nyeri cup that ends with a stunning finish too.
